Leicester Riders and Sheffield Sharks played out a rare draw in the BBL, and will battle it out in the second leg for a place in the BBL Trophy Final alongside Esh Group Eagles Newcastle.
Fab Flounoy’s side defeated Worcester Wolves 94-88 on the road to complete an overall 167-154 aggregate win with Rahmon Fletcher finishing with 25 points and nine assists on the night.
Meanwhile, the Sharks scored the final five points to earn a 79-79 draw with Leicester ahead of the return leg on Wednesday. Jerrold Brooks had 24 points for the Sharks, while TrayVonn Wright paced the Riders with 22.
Elsewhere, in the BBL Championship, there were important wins for Play-Off hopefuls Cheshire Phoenix and Plymouth University Raiders.
Phoenix recovered from 16 points down to beat Glasgow Rocks 90-81 as Danny Huffor scored 24 against his former side, while the Raiders also battled back from a half-time deficit to see off Surrey Scorchers 73-64 behind 18 points and 14 boards from Cory Dixon.
