The Basketball Coaches’ Association, FIBA Europe, Richmond College, and the Future Stars 2010 will once again work together to conduct the National Coaching Conference this year.
The National Coaching Conference will gather coaches from Europe and United Kingdom to learn coaching lessons fro the best international coaches in the World. The coaches will also have an opportunity to share their knowledge with the other coaches in the Conference.
The event, which attracted hundreds of coaches last year, will be held from July 10-11 at Kingston College in Surrey. the programs aims to attract coaches who are working with both Juniors and Seniors team.
The Future Stars was able to invite high profile international coaches that will be the guest speakers in the Event. The main speaker in the event will be Slobodan Subotic who was once hired to coach the Slovenian National Team in different international tournaments. The veteran coach also spent some time coaching European Clubs like Panathinaikos, Olympiacos, Aris Thessalonica, and KK Split.
Former National Coach of Macedonia, Zare Marovski, will also be sharing his knowledge and experience in the National Coaches Conference. Marovski is also the former coach of Virtus Bologna and he led that team to a third place finish in the EuroCup in 2007.
Olle Lunden, who is the current coach of Sweden’s Under-18 National Team, will also be one of the speakers in the two-day meet. He led the Juniors Team of Sweden qualify to the Division-A in last year’s European Championship.
All the coaches that will participate in the conference will be given educational materials, T-shirts, and small souvenirs of the Future Stars Event.
