Leeds Force have today announced the signing of British guard Andrew Hambleton for the fast approaching BBL season.
The 6ft 4in product of the SGS College was also part of the Loughborough University basketball programme before returning to Bristol to play for the Flyers last season, where he averaged 0.6 points and .6 rebounds per game in just 5 minutes of court time.
Hambleton is pleased to be joining Leeds and stated: “I’m very excited for the upcoming season and for the opportunity to become a Leeds Force player.
“After speaking with Coach Turunen, I feel that his style of coaching and his coaching pedigree is very much suited to how I like to play and I’m excited for my own personal development.
“I am also determined to make a positive impact on the team’s overall success this season.”
Hambleton will shortly join up with his new teammates as Force prepare for the new season which tips off against Esh Group Eagles Newcastle on Friday 29th September at the Carnegie Sports Arena. Tickets for all of Leeds Force’s games will shortly go on sale through the club website.
