This week it’s the turn of Glasgow Rocks’ British forward Will Hall, who is in his first season with the Scottish side after moving from Leeds Force. And, he’s certainly making a big impact after an astonishing shooting display during December.

How did you get into basketball? I have two older brothers that began to play, so I started by losing to them in the driveway.
Do you have any superstitions or rituals before you play? No, not really.
What has been your best basketball memory so far? Representing GB U20’s at the European Championships. And, one time I was feeling real good and had fresh legs, so I managed to dunk it. That was pretty special too.
Favourite basketball arena? Emirates Arena in the big hall is pretty cool.
What sports do you enjoy outside of basketball and who do you follow/support? I really enjoy Tennis. I’ve never been taught how to play, so my style could use a bit of work, but it’s a good laugh throughout the summer. Also, nothing beats watching Wimbledon.
Who would you want to play you in a film of your life? Jesse Eisenberg – just because he makes great movies.
If you could be a character in any film or TV show (current or past), who would you be and why? I’d want to be in the film Gravity. Chilling around in space with one of those jet pack things would be unbelievable.
What would be your perfect weekend? A day in the park, a BBQ, something nice to drink and just hanging out with friends and family.
At school your best subjects and your worst are/were? I was best at Maths and History, but pretty awful at art and design.
Your coach has asked you to organise a team-bonding activity. What activity would you go for and why? ‘Zorb football’, as I’ve never done it but it looks good fun.
Which of your team-mates has the best and worst fashion and musical tastes? On the court, I have the worst fashion. I’m not too bothered about that kind of stuff when playing basketball. Off the court, everyone seems to dress pretty well. As for the music, each to their own.
Who or what makes you laugh? It doesn’t take much to make me laugh. I like stand-up comedy a lot. Kevin Bridges, Frank Skinner, Romesh Ranganathan all have some great stuff.
Who and/or what do you find really annoying? People who get their phone out mid conversation.
Finally, tell us something hardly anybody or nobody knows about you? I’d rather be a tennis player!
