Lions continue hold over Raiders with Copper Box success

London Lions completed a season sweep over Plymouth Raiders after recording an impressive 99-88 victory in front of the BBC Sport cameras.
It was a fourth victory in all competitions over the Raiders for London with Alex Owumi starring with 15 points, 10 rebounds and 10 assists for a triple-double.
Zaire Taylor dished out 10 assists to go with 16 points, while Navid Niktash top scored with 17 points as the Lions shot over 50% from beyond the arc.
The home side made a blistering start and a trio of triples from Owumi in quick succession put his side up 28-14 in the opening period. Plymouth responded with a 7-0 run, but the Lions continued to knock down shots from outside as they established a commanding lead at the half.
After an even third period, Plymouth showed fight in the final quarter to cut the gap to as little as 12 points, but the damage had been done and London wrapped up the victory with Owumi completing his triple-double.
