On Saturday, the Rocks were down by double digits, but a huge run lead the back to the game and escaped with a hard-earned 81-79 victory over the Worcester Wolves, preventing a fourth-straight defeat, after Nick Livas hit a buzzer-beating shot.
Elmer Harrison had 17 points, while Livas added 16 points for the Rocks, which followed their win against the Wolves with a convincing win against the Plymouth Raiders.
Sterling Davis erupted for 23 points and grabbed five rebounds, leading the Rocks to an 87-75 win over the Raiders for their third win of the season.
The Raiders dropped to tenth spot in the standings after also absorbing a 96-85 loss against the Mersey Tigers on Tuesday. The Tigers solidified their grip on the third spot with a 3-1 win-loss record, behind the Sheffield Sharks and Cheshire Jets, which won their fourth-straight against the Leicester Riders.
The Sharks also protected their unblemished record when they crushed Worthing Thunder, 107-84, with Ryan Patton’s 22 points and 11 rebounds and Adan Williams’ 18 points and six boards.
