Cheshire Phoenix are pleased to be able to confirm the signing of British star Orlan Jackman.
The 6ft 7in forward joins Phoenix from BBL Cup winners Esh Group Eagles Newcastle, where he averaged 11 points and 7 rebounds per game during the 2016-17 season.
London born Jackman was part of the Molten BBL All-British Team of the Year last season and has previously played for Worcester Wolves and London Lions.
He commented: “I am really happy to be a part of the new look Phoenix team.
“I look forward to a lot of great things next season at the Ellesmere Port Sports Village”.
Meanwhile head Coach Ben Thomas added: “We are very happy to have Orlan onboard with us for the upcoming season.
“He is one of the best British players in this league. His versatility on both the offensive and defensive ends of the floor, will be a massive asset to us.
“The club have worked really hard over the past couple of weeks to be able to bring Orlan to Cheshire.
“I know he is really focused and understands that this club is going to take a giant leap forward this season”.
Jackman joins Raheem May-Thompson, CJ Gettys and Andrew Bachman on the roster.
