The Leicester Riders continue to build towards the opening of the new Leicester Community Sports Arena on January 27th and their first game in the new venue on January 30th.
The club has enjoyed a successful two seasons at Loughborough University following departing the John Sandford Centre and will now look to build upon that success further in a more permanent home in the centre of Leicester City.
The Riders today announced the sale of Half-Season tickets that will allow fans to guarantee their seats for opening night and the rest of the BBL and WBBL seasons ahead of tickets going onto general sale later this week.
Managing Director Russell Levenston is excited for the move and what lies ahead for the club.
He said: “Our time at Loughborough University has been phenomenal, with a club record 31 wins in the 2015 calendar year written into the history books and so many amazing moments in front of sell out crowds which we will all cherish.
“The new arena offers an amazing opportunity for the club to continue its growth and share the game of basketball with more people, on a weekly basis at the professional games but also at grassroots and participation sessions that will make up a lot of the activity at Leicester Community Sports Arena.”
Half season tickets off fans the opportunity to guarantee their seat on opening night at the new venue for BBL action for the rest of the season and are now on sale.
Tickets are priced from £100 for adults and £70 for children with great VIP packages available from £300 for the remainder of the season.
