“I am very proud to be a part of this programme,” stated Lewis.
“It’s a massive step forward for women’s basketball in Scotland. There is a lot of work still to do, but I can’t fault the training environment during our pre-season practices. I am excited to see what we can achieve this year,” she added.
Head coach, Bart Sengers is looking forward to working with Lewis and commented, “I am really excited to have Robyn on the team. Her engird is amazing and I am confident she will lead the team with all she has goats a point guard.
“I am expecting her work ethic and defensive intensity to rub off on the rest of the team. I am looking forward to helping her develop her skills even more and I am confident she will turn into a threat for our opponents.”
Caledonia Pride will make their league debut away from home when they travel to face an experienced Leicester Riders side on 08 October.
