Manchester Met Mystics 68-95 London Lions (16-32, 39-55, 51-79)

London Lions bounced back from their last league defeat to comfortably beat Manchester Met Mystics 95-68 on Tuesday evening.
Following their WBBL Cup triumph against Nottingham Wildcats on Sunday, London looked fired up from the get-go as they scored 32 points in the opening quarter to lead Manchester by 16.
Lions lost to Sevenoaks Suns last time out in the league as they suffered their first defeat of the season following a run of eight straight victories. This time round they showed no signs of weakness as they continued to control the game through the second and third quarters.
Lions played out the game comfortably to win by 27 points. Cassie Breen led the scoring for Lions with a game-high 21 points while Georgia Jones topped the scoring charts for Mystics with 20 points and eight assists.
The win sees Lions go back to the top of the WBBL Championship table as they leapfrog Leicester Riders. The defeat was Mystics fifth of the season as they remain fifth in the table.
London host Caledonia Pride next time out on the 28th of March while Manchester are on the road as they face Leicester Riders the day before.
