Bristol Flyers can confirm Jordan Nicholls will return for his second year in the BBL.
The 6ft1in in guard joined the club mid way through last season, having previous experience in NBL division one with Reading Rockets and Solent Kestrels.
The 23-year-old, was also a product of the Loughborough University basketball programme.
“I’m really happy to be back for another season with the Flyers,” Nicholls told bristolflyers.co.uk.
“The club welcomed me really well late last year and I can’t wait to get on the court with the guys and start pre-season training.
“I’ve been speaking with Coach Kapoulas a lot this summer and I know exactly what is expected of me.
“I’ve learnt a lot from him so far and he’s really helped excel my game – I can’t wait to keep learning from him this year.
“I’m really excited to see the fans and the game day staff again – they all make Flyers feel like home to me.”
Nicholls, made five appearances for the Flyers last season, averaging 0.6 points in just two minutes per game.
“It is great to see Jordan returning to our roster for the upcoming season,” said head coach Andreas Kapoulas.
“He is a young player that wants to make Bristol his home and I think last season was a valuable year for him learning what it takes to be competitive in the BBL.
“He didn’t see much court time, but the experiences that he gathered in practice and and in games has proved very beneficial to his development as a player.
“He’s worked very hard this summer to improve and he’s put everything that he has learned into practice.
“This year will be a great opportunity for him to make an impact in our squad and I am certain he will make the most of it.”
Tickets for Flyers’ pre-season games at the WISE Arena against USA Select and Worcester Wolves are now on general sale.
