Rocks now rolling, wins for Riders and Scorchers, Lions make Cup QF’s

Leicester Riders, Glasgow Rocks and Surrey Scorchers were victorious in the BBL Championship on Sunday, while London Lions advanced in the Cup.

The defending league champions beat Plymouth Raiders 72-93 on the road with 22 points from JR Holder.

Surrey held their nerve late on to see off Worcester Wolves 84-80, while Glasgow produced a late flourish to deny Cheshire Phoenix in an 80-86 win.

London completed the Quarter-Final lineup in the Cup with a dominant 104-53 success against Leeds Force.
