The Kukri Junior League will return this weekend as Round 1 of the 2022/23 season gets underway.
The competition structure will feature ten teams this season, competing across three weekends in the pool stages.
The competition has been the starting point for many GB internationals and sees players aged between 13-18 years-old compete in a mixed league (players must be aged 17 or younger on 31st August 2022 to be eligible to compete).
This season’s Junior League season will follow the same format as previous years with teams split into separate pools based on their geographical location. Each team will host one round of pool games.
Two points will be awarded for a win and one point for a defeat.
The top-eight teams will then qualify for the Kukri Junior League Elite 8’s which will take place at Wildcats Arena, Nottingham, on 22nd April 2023 in a knock-out format.
The two finalists at the end of the Elite 8s competition will then go head-to-head in the Junior League final which will be played at the National Championship Finals in May 2023.

Pool A: North Wales Knights, Swansea Storm, Aberystwyth
