The two sides meet on Sunday for what could be a title defining contest.
In their previous encounter back in October, Sevenoaks ran out winners on the road at Leicester Arena.
Consequently, securing a positive result this weekend is of the upmost importance for the Riders.
“We know as a team how much the game could mean this weekend,” admitted rising star Holly Winterburn.
“There is definitely a feeling that the game has extra importance, but we’re still preparing for it in the same way as we would for any other fixture.
“Sevenoaks have some key players that defensively we must contain in order to win the game.
“Offensively we need focus on playing our own basketball at a high tempo.”
Winterburn has won many admires this season with a series of standout performances.

The Great Britain youth international credits the “competitive nature of the squad” for her notable progression on the court.
“I think what makes this group so special is that every person on the team contributes to our success.
“Each player brings something different to the table. Our versatility is one of our biggest strengths. It makes us a tough team to defend, because it’s hard for the opposition to deny us everything.
“We train with the same intensity as we play. That kind of environment doesn’t tolerate you taking sessions off, but it allows for a steep development curve that can be seen on game days.”
On Saturday, Manchester Mystics welcome Caledonia Pride ahead of Nottingham Wildcats taking on Cardiff Met Archers.
Ten teams then take to the court on Sunday for an action packed finale to the weekend’s proceedings.
Oaklands Wolves start off at home against Westfield Health Sheffield Hatters before Team Northumbria host Cardiff Met Archers.
Elsewhere, Nottingham Wildcats face Caledonia Pride before BA London Lions look to break their Championship duck against fellow winless outfit Durham Palatinates.
